Timur Ivanov has been detained on suspicion of taking bribes, the highest-profile corruption case since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The deputy defence minister is accused of taking a large-scale bribe, defined in Russia's penal code as accepting corrupt payments amounting to over 1 million rubles (over $10,500).
