Ukraine Army Chief Admits “Sixfold” Advantage To Russia | Zelensky Pleads Republican Speaker For Ai Ukraine’s top general admitted that Russia is outgunning Ukrainian forces sixfold, causing losses of troops and positions. The commander-in-chief of Kyiv’s forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, made the remarks in a rare interview with the Ukrinform news agency. "A few days ago, the enemy's advantage in terms of ammunition fired was about six to one," said Syrskyi.General Syrskyi warned that the situation in some areas is “tense” as there are “little or no weapons and ammunition.” Syrskyi added that in recent weeks, Russia had "significantly increased aviation activity, using guided aerial bombs that destroy our positions."Kyiv’s top commander stressed that Ukraine has lost territory it would "undoubtedly have retained" with "sufficient" arms under its disposal.Syrskyi took over as commander-in-chief in February after Zelensky fired his popular predecessor, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
