UK Trained Ukraine Troops For Kursk Assault? Zelensky Seeks “Maximum Damage” On Russian Positions As Ukraine continues to make inroads into the Kursk region, Kyiv’s forces have been accused of planning a “nuclear provocation” on Russian soil. According to Russian media reports, “special warheads” prepared to carry out this attack have already been delivered to the Dnepropetrovsk region. The “dirty bomb” attack may involve strikes against spent nuclear fuel rods storage areas either at Kursk or at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plants, reports said. A military expert said the use of a “dirty nuclear bomb” is unlikely as it would “bury Ukraine” and “Russia will have its hands free.” Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry on August 16 dismissed Russian claims about Kyiv's alleged plans to attack nuclear power plants with "dirty bombs”. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on August 16 that Moscow was suffering losses and Kyiv “must inflict maximum damage on all Russian positions.”
