UK Rioters Vandalise Holiday Inn Express Chant "Get Them Out" As Anti-Immigration Violence Spreads Far-Right Protesters smashed windows of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in UK's Rotherdam and started multiple fires outside it on August 4. BBC reported that protesters chanted "get them out" outside the hotel but it is unclear if the hotel is housing asylum seekers, or if it has been evacuated. Violent far-right protests have erupted across UK with mobs clashing with the police and resorting to arson after the murder of three children in a stabbing attack on July 29. About 90 people were arrested on August 3 after skirmishes broke out in Liverpool, Manchester, Bristol, Blackpool and Hull, as well as Belfast in Northern Ireland. The protests followed claims and speculations on social media that the 17-year-old suspect in the Southport dance class stabbing was a Muslim immigrant.
