Thousands Of Students & Teachers Hike Through China’s Kubuqi Desert More than 1,200 teachers and students from the senior classes of Hohhot No. 1 High School completed a hiking trip across the desert in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday.At noon, a group of teachers and students walked in the Kubuqi Desert. After nearly two hours, all the teachers and students successfully completed the 5-kilometer desert hike.So far, Hohhot No. 1 High School has held 11 similar hiking activities, reaching 180,000 kilometres, with a total of 12,000 participants.
