Bodies Of 6 Israeli Hostages Found, IDF Strikes Gaza School The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that it had recovered the bodies of six Israeli hostages during an overnight operation in Khan Younis. The hostages are Alex Dancyg, Yagev Buchshtav, Chaim Peri, Yoram Metzger, Nadav Popplewell, and Avraham Munder. The IDF confirmed Dancyg and Buchshtav's deaths in late July, while Peri, Metzger, and Popplewell were declared dead in early June. The five were believed to have been killed in Khan Younis in early 2024, although the causes of death were not known. With the bodies recovered, the IDF will continue investigating the causes of death, including the possibility that Israeli fire killed the hostages.
