Netanyahu Says Rafah Strike “Tragically Wrong” But Vows To Continue War, Hamas Slams “Zionazis” Israeli Prime Minister has said that an IDF airstrike in Rafah that killed 45 Palestinians was not intended to cause civilian casualties. Benjamin Netanyahu, said in parliament that “something unfortunately went tragically wrong” with the airstrike” and would be investigated. He insisted that the Israel Defense Forces were using their "best efforts not to harm those uninvolved" in the conflict. At least 45 people were killed, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, while hundreds more were treated for wounds.Netanyahu's address in the Knesset was interrupted by occasional heckling from relatives of hostages taken by Hamas during the October 7 attack.
