Mudslide In Thailand's Phuket Kills 13, Injures 19 On August 24, Phuket's provincial governor confirmed that a landslide had killed thirteen people and injured nineteen. The landslide, caused by heavy rains from August 22-23, struck behind the Big Buddha, affecting 209 households.
