Kremlin Welcomes Trump's Praise Of “War Machine” Russia The Kremlin on July 26 welcomed Donald Trump's comments on Russia being "a war machine" that had defeated Napoleon and Hitler but said it was not wearing rose-tinted spectacles when it came to the US Republican presidential candidate.Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow was aware that Trump represented a political elite which held anti-Russian views."Maybe he shows a little more political wisdom in terms of maintaining channels of dialogue, but de facto this does not have a special influence on anything," Peskov said on Friday.
