This marked a shift in Israel's focus towards Hezbollah officials involved in security and political affairs. Unlike previous strikes, no evacuation warnings were issued, and this area, distant from Hezbollah's headquarters in Beirut’s southern suburbs, had not been attacked before. Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed that among the dead was a family of eight, including three children, who had fled from southern Lebanon. Both Israel and Hezbollah have yet to comment on the incident.
