In a statement, the group said that they targeted “Ben Gurion Airport deep within the usurping entity” with a drone. Islamic Resistance in Iraq is an umbrella group of Iran-backed Shia hardline groups, which has been striking US targets in the Middle East. Earlier in March, Islamic Resistance announced that it had targeted the Haifa Airport in occupied Palestinian territories.
