Israel To Target Iran’s Nuclear Sites After Missile Attack? Biden-Bibi Calls Now “Shouting Matches” The US President has opposed any Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear sites in response to Tehran missile attack. Joe Biden urged Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu to act "proportionally" against its regional arch-foe. Asked whether he would back Israel striking Iranian nuclear sites as it has long threatened, Biden said: "The answer is no."Biden’s remarks came a day after Iran fired nearly 200 missiles at Israel in what Tehran called the operation ‘True Promise II.’ After the massive Iranian missile barrage, Israeli PM Netanyahu vowed Iran would pay for the attack. Some analysts said Israel's response would likely be sharper than when Iran launched missiles and drones at Israel in April. Experts also suggested that this time Tel Aviv could target Tehran's nuclear or oil facilities. Some experts expected the US to try again to moderate Israel's response in an effort to avoid a regional war.
