Israel Threatens to Strike 'Important Targets' After Missile Attack, Iran Warns 'Harsher Response' Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned of a strong response from Tehran to any further Israeli actions. Iran's president arrived in Qatar on Oct.2 a day after Iran fired waves of ballistic missiles at Israel. Israel stepped up its war with Iranian ally Hezbollah by assassinating its chief Sayyed Nasrallah and sending troops over the border into Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he would strike back at Iran following the October 1 missile attack. Iranian President said that, “if Israel decides to retaliate then it will face harsher reaction.”
