"IRGC Navy Not A Coastal Force" Iran Warning As US Sends Submarine, Warships For Israel's Defence A top Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander has said Iran’s elite force sent a message to the US with its recent mission. In May, the fifth Martyr Lieutenant General Haj Qassem Soleimani fleet of the IRGC Navy returned home after completing a 39-day mission. The fleet, with the Shahid Mahdavi warship acting as its flagship, began its mission from Farsi Island, where the US killed an IRGC commander. “This conveyed important messages to the US,” Colonel Soleimani of the fifth Martyr Lieutenant General Haj Qassem Soleimani fleet said. The Shahid Mahdavi warship passed through important and strategic straits of the world, including the Strait of Malaga during its mission.
