Iran’s New Foreign Minister To ‘Harden Stance’ On Nuclear Policy As Threat Of War With Israel Looms Iran’s parliament approved all 19 ministers of President Masoud Pezeshkian’s cabinet, marking the first time in over two decades a leader has secured full approval. The cabinet approved on August 21 after days of debate is cross-factional, reflecting the president’s focus on “consensus.” Unlike former President Raisi's hardline team, the new cabinet has some reformist figures. It includes Health Minister Mohammadreza Zafarqandi, who secured his position with the lowest vote count of 163. Abbas Araqchi was approved as foreign minister with 247 votes. Watch the video to find out more about prospects of JCPOA under Pezeshkian.
