IDF Claims Hit Hezbollah Cell After Anti-Aircraft Missile Fire On Israel Jets; Fire In Golan Heights The Israeli military said that a cell of Hezbollah operatives launched anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli fighter jets over southern Lebanon. According to the Israel Defence Forces, the aircraft were never under any serious threat from the attack. However, this appears to be the first use of anti-aircraft missiles in Lebanon against Israeli jets since war broke out in October 2023. The attack on June 9 came several weeks after Hezbollah scaled up the intensity and reach of hostilities.
