Houthis Strike American Destroyer In Red Sea, US Accuses Iran Of Ignoring Distress Call From Ship Yemen’s Houthis claimed that they had attacked two civilian ships along with an American destroyer in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea on June 16. In a statement, the Houthi military spokesperson said the group fired ballistic missiles at the American destroyer, naval missiles at a ship. Sarea also said the group also attacked a ship called the Happy Condor in the Arabian Sea with drones. The extent of the damage on the US destroyer and the other two ships, if any, remains unclear.
