Hezbollah Avenges “Shield Of The Sayyed”, IDF Strikes Lebanon, Nasrallah Slams Arab Stance On Gaza The Israeli military says its fighter jets struck several locations in southern Lebanon overnight, including the villages of Kafr Kila and Jennata. In a post on X, the Israeli military claimed the attacks targeted Hezbollah infrastructure, including a weapons warehouse. Two facilities belonging to Hezbollah’s air defense unit were struck in Lebanon overnight, the IDF said on July 10. This comes after two Israeli settlers were killed in a rocket impact in the Golan Heights on July 9 evening, police said,Hezbollah launched a barrage of some 40 rockets, hours after one of its operatives was killed in an “Israeli strike” on the Beirut-Damascus highway in Syria. Noa and Nir Baranes were killed when a rocket directly struck a vehicle they were in, rescue services said.Their deaths brought the number of civilians killed in Israel amid months-long clashes with Hezbollah to 12, as per Israeli media reports.Taking responsibility for the attack, Hezbollah claimed to have targeted the IDF’s Nafah base, located just south of the community of Ortal. The Iran-backed group said the attack was in response to the death of its operative Yasser Qarnabash in Syria earlier in the day. A former bodyguard of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Nasrallah, Qarnabash had been lately involved in transporting weapons and personnel in Syria.
