Hamas To “Shoot Hostages" In Next Israeli Raid? US Mulls Unilateral Deal, Pushes Gaza Ceasefire The US is considering “entering into a unilateral deal” with Hamas that does not include Israel. According to an NBC News report, the deal meant to free five American hostages would be hammered out through Qatari mediation. Washington’s alleged move came amid reports of Hamas issuing new “standing orders” to its operatives holding hostages. Israeli officials told the New York Times that Hamas leaders have told their operatives to “shoot captives” if they “think Israeli forces are coming.” A senior US official told NBC the rescue of four hostages will likely complicate Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s efforts to broker a new ceasefire deal. Meanwhile, the resignation of the centrist member of Israel’s war cabinet, retired General Benny Gantz, has posed another challenge to the truce efforts. Watch the video to find out more.
