Gaza War Reverberates Across US Campuses And Sharpens Pro-Palestine And Pro-Israel Divide American university campuses are in turmoil over the Israel Hamas war. It all started last week after the arrests of more than 100 protesters at Columbia University. They had set up temporary encampments against what they called the 'genocide of Gazans' by Israel. In some instances, it also led to openly 'anti-semitic' chants and slogans which endangered some of the Jewish students on campus. What started off there has thrown college and university administrators across some of America’s most influential universities into a tailspin, struggling to rein in campus protests that were triggered by the Gaza war.
