Control Over Lebanese Skies For Ceasefire? Israel Shares Demands With US For Ending Hezbollah War Israel is said to have given the US a document last week mentioning its conditions for a diplomatic solution to end the war in Lebanon. The Israel Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave the paper to the White House ahead of US President Joe Biden's envoy Amos Hochstein's visit to Beirut on Oct 21, reported Axios. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s top aide and Israeli Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer reportedly sent the document to Hochstein on Oct 17. The Axios report is based on information provided by two unnamed US officials and two Israeli officials. Hochstein is expected to discuss the Israeli demands during his meeting with Lebanon’s acting PM Najib Kikati and other leadersLebanon’s parliament speaker Nabih Berri told Al-Arabiya on Oct 20 that Hochstein's visit is "the last chance before the US elections to reach a solution" to the war. Israeli officials said the paper came out of discussions Dermer had with the Israeli defence ministry and the IDF.
