Black Hawk Rescuing IDF Soldier Crashes In Rafah, Israel Offers Safe Passage To "New Hitler" Sinwar An Israeli army helicopter crashed in the south Gaza overnight, killing two soldiers and injuring seven. The UH-60 Black Hawk had flown to Rafah with a medical team to evacuate a seriously wounded combat engineer during fighting in the area. During the final landing stage inside an IDF encampment in Rafah, the helicopter impacted the ground instead of touching down correctly. The latest deaths bring the military's losses in the Gaza campaign to 344 since the start of its offensive on October 27. Meanwhile, Israel has floated the possibility of offering Hamas’s Yahya Sinwar safe passage out of Gaza if the group releases all 101 hostages. Hirsch said those conditions, along with Gaza being “demilitarized and deradicalized,” could help recover Gaza and end the war. On Sept. 10, Hirsch in an interview with Bloomberg, said that Israel has already proposed safe passage to Sinwar.“I’m ready to provide safe passage to Sinwar, his family, whoever wants to join him,” he told Bloomberg.
