Bangladesh's Yunus Defends Student Ultimatums To Hasina Allies, Says Following Orders Of Revolution Bangladeshi police resumed patrols of the capital Dhaka, ending a weeklong strike that left a law and order vacuum following Sheikh Hasina’s ouster. Students who led the protests volunteered to restore law and order after looting and reprisal attacks in the hours after Hasina fled to India. The uniform and logo of Bangladesh Police are set to be changed, according to several sources at the Police Headquarters. Bangladesh's new home minister said the government had no intention of banning ousted premier Sheikh Hasina's Awami League party. Meanwhile, new interim leader Muhammad Yunus said Bangladesh was experiencing a "student-led revolution" after Hasina’s ouster.
