The fallen soldiers, all from Armored Battalion 196, were identified as Cpt. Barak Israel Sagan, Sgt. Ido Ben Zvi, and Sgt. Hillel Ovadia. The IDF reported a total of ten Israeli soldiers killed in various ambushes from October 23 to the night of October 25.In a separate incident, Israel charged seven citizens for allegedly conducting extensive espionage on behalf of Iran, with prosecutors detailing their involvement in approximately 600 acts of espionage over two years. The suspects, including two minors, are accused of photographing sensitive military sites and transmitting information to Iranian agents. One of the suspects, Azis Nisanov, allegedly led the espionage ring, while payments for missions ranged from $500 to $1,200, totalling around $300,000.In southern Lebanon, the IDF claimed to have demolished two Hezbollah tunnels, killing several operatives in the process. Israeli forces also seized a cache of weapons and conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah assets in civilian areas. Amidst these operations, three journalists were reportedly killed in an Israeli airstrike on a building in Hasbaya, prompting condemnation from Lebanese officials who labelled the attack a "war crime." Information Minister Ziad Makary stated that the assault on journalists appeared to be premeditated, raising serious concerns about the targeting of media personnel in conflict zones.
